I love this clip — bringing a little humor to the “wake up, your life is happening” spring-cleaning process…
It perfectly nails how we often sleepwalk through our day-to-day, and highlights the cost of losing touch with what matters most.

This cracked me up!
Truth is funnier than fiction.
And it’s also a bit sad…
I love this quote:
How quickly he thought the world owed him what he only learned existed ten seconds ago!!
Thanks, Bryan! Good reminder how quickly we develop attachments and lose sight to the truly amazing in life!!
FN A MANG! Bout time someone stood up and called it straight!
That was spot on but…hey! Why is this taking so long to load up??? F#@&ing piece of S#*%…..
Great clip. It is time to wake up. Though there seems to be some people that hope we don´t. It is a lot harder to sell useless crap to an awake society. Hence the crisis. We no longer need so much useless crap. When your greatest challenge in life is that you can’t find the right colour cell phone, and that actually really upsets you, then that should be a sign that somewhere, something misfired. Time for a little grace and gratitude for the wonder of the age that we live in.
Loved it. Thanks for sharing.
A comment on format… the black frame at the top taking up a 1/4 of the visible part of my screen is killing me. It sure makes it hard to watch some of these videos.
Yes! The lines “‘We had to sit there, on the runway, for *40 minutes*.’ ‘Oh really, what happened next, did you FLY THROUGH THE AIR INCREDIBLY?'” really hit me when I first watched it a while back, and it still rings so true now.
So true, sadly.
This guy is soooo right on so many different levels!!!
That’s why I say that Americans are not only from a different planet but from a different galaxy … Can’t see the humour. But it is plenty sad… (just like American cartoons – I’ve always wondered why violence is seen as funny ?!?!?! and even more, that’s accepted as normal and promoted as the “most progressive” way of life)
That’s awesome! Appreciating and enjoying the little things instead of just taking them for granted can make our lives seem completely different, even though the only thing that has changed is our outlook.
This is AWESOME – so true – such a great reminder that we do live in an amazing time! I would also like to add we live in a time where people can connect IN SECONDS all over the PLANET and offer love, support, coaching, etc. IT IS AMAZING. Thanks for this post! LOVED IT
xoxo

This was AWESOME!!
My favorite line:
“It’s going to SPACE – give it a second!”
Funny. Who is this guy?
Have look about DEPRESSION is now rated as a disease. It is the attitude one has, no pill will help you .We all live in a manipulated society , where violence and aggression is the way to solve daily issues .We need to break this loop, and it starts with the individual .Look about you ,at nature and take in the love that surrounds you , tank up with it, appreciate the new day the weather, birds and the bees. How many do you hear complaining about the weather “too hot wet & miserable etc ” and so it goes on .Looking not for the small blessings that are available during the course of the day .Life is a miracle and one is dead for a long time . “GRATITUDE” be thankful for the journey that you have been blessed with .
Louis CK is hilarious and this is a great clip.
I think I’m going to be very happy today just walking around in the sun marveling at the fact that there’s food in my fridge and no bombs blowing up my house or people torturing my family because I don’t believe in the same myths as them.
HAHAHA, wow, this guy is amazing 😀 !!!
I don’t really battle with that much here but a similar story from my life would be the traffic here in Cairo. The city is crowded, pretty much 70% of 80m people live in it and the roads get stuck a lot…What, just what, made you think that honking will eventually vaporize everyone in the damn street but you ?!
Life sucks when it’s lived trying to prevent s*** from happening; i never truly appreciated peace until i fully and openly experienced conflict; outside and inside
Peace out y’all 😉 and goodluck with AMP 2.0; it’s about time you give that stuff it’s true worth. Always felt that such profound teachings and a man’s life in general is, at least, about a little more than just “getting tshix”
Nice!
Complaining is a habit perpetuated by Madison Ave. and Hollywood. Happy people don’t need to buy; to consume; to escape life at a movie. Unhappy people buy to become happy…. for about 2.3 seconds!!! It’s really simple. Help people believe they should be unhappy. Convince them that buying “stuff” will make them happy. Sell them “stuff.” Convince them they can be happier by buying more stuff, and on and on and on…….
How many people do you know or have heard about that go shopping when they’re feeling down? It’s referred to as shopping therapy. Therapy? Seriously?!
There are studies that show that the more “stuff” we’ve been able to buy and accumulate, the more unhappy we’ve become as a society. As the old saying goes, you don’t own stuff, your stuff owns you.
Plant seeds in your friends’ minds to help them break free of the cycle. Eventually, especially with the economy in the toilet, people will begin to see the light you’re trying to shine and maybe, just maybe, the tide will start turning and people will become friendlier and more sociable and more likable and society will accelerate the advancement to the next level of enlightenment without having to experience a crisis to jumpstart the change. Or maybe we’ll need a pandemic to spur the change…..
Cheers!

Man may be technologicaly advanced but he is spiritualy inept! Our tools have become like our minds and bodies – we really have no idea how they work.
The world is so accessibly “plugged-in” now that quiet self-reflection has become a a necessary niche market in the economy – as is evidenced by the big business of meditation classes and retreats.
No amount of superior gadgetry or convenience will create superior men; neither will a return to some sort of golden age of stone tablets and chisels. What is needed is a deep-seated recognition that none of this electronic distraction makes anyone more intelligent, more wakeful and most importantly – more content and at ease with life. From that realized foundation we just might be able to use all of these superfluous extensions of our senses and appendages more purposefully.
I love it! That is way cool man! The steps weren’t that complicated too, which is great.
