It’s Shelly with the Authentic Man Program again. And today I’m going to respond to Jerry’s post titled “Opening”.

So Jerry talks about having these experiences of being really attracted to these women who are “Open” and not as attracted to the same women in other moments, or other women who are what we describe as more closed.

So he’s kind of wondering about that, and his question is “What really inspires you to open?”. So Jerry, lets see!

Well, off the top of my head I could say presence, appreciation and integrity, are those three things that really inspire me to open. So first of all I want to know that you’re here with me, that you are paying attention, that you are experiencing this moment with me, so thats the first step. Secondly, appreciation, If you’re being a yes to me, if you’re enjoying me, you’re enjoying your experience of me, I’m much more likely to open to you. And then the top issue in terms of me choosing to open really has to do with me trusting, and so thats where integrity comes in. So when you are living in full integrity, really committed to your purpose and driving toward it and living your values, then I feel safe to open with you, because I can just sense that you’re trustable.

So check it out, and see, are you being fully present? Are you really appreciating her? And is there any area of your life where you’re not fully in integrity? Handle that stuff and you’re going to have women opening left and right.
